Join the Parents All in Recovery Group every Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County, 179 S. Winooski Ave., Suite 301, Burlington, Vermont, where parents in recovery can connect, share their experiences, and support one another in a welcoming and understanding space. Children are welcome in the Maddie Linsenmeir Room, a safe, child-friendly space for ages 0–8. On the last Friday of each month, Steph from Steps to End Domestic Violence will join the group for learning, discussion, and breakfast pastries for all participants. An open AA meeting that meets from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, seven days a week, in person at the Center. This group welcomes all newcomers with open arms, and the format is usually “LD” ie, literature/discussion. This means that the meeting begins with a reading from a book that is part of the Alcoholics Anonymous library, followed by an open discussion of the reading and anything else related to the topic of recovery.
This is an open meeting available to trans or non-gender conforming individuals interested in the Alcoholics Anonymous program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers. The meeting includes discussion, literature, speakers, and steps.
This in-person recovery yoga class offers a unique blend of mindfulness, movement, and community support.
