Emergency Department Recovery Coach (Per Diem – Overnight)
Turning Point Center of Chittenden County is seeking dedicated individuals with a minimum of three years of sustained recovery from substance use to join our Emergency Department Recovery Coaching Program at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC).
This unique position provides compassionate, real-time support to patients in the emergency department who are struggling with substance use disorder. Recovery Coaches help connect individuals to treatment, recovery services, and ongoing community support.
We’re looking for candidates who:

Thrive in an overnight work environment (shift differential and overnight stipend provided)

Are detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and maintain accurate, confidential documentation in PHI databases

Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and stay calm under pressure

Are looking for a meaningful, long-term role in the recovery community
