The meetings are a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life."
An open AA meeting that meets from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, seven days a week, in person at the Center. This group welcomes all newcomers with open arms, and the format is usually “LD” ie, literature/discussion. This means that the meeting begins with a reading from a book that is part of the Alcoholics Anonymous library, followed by an open discussion of the reading and anything else related to the topic of recovery.
Do you worry about how much someone drinks? Join us for weekly Al-Anon meetings at the Center (179 S. Winooski Ave, Burlington, VT). Al-Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. Learn more about Al-Anon by visiting there website, or email Andrew for more information.
This is a time for parents and children to come into the center from 5-7. We will talk about struggles and get support from other parents. We will choose topics around being parents in recovery and give others a chance to support one another from past experiences.
