Our calendar includes meetings, groups, programs, and events for the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County. The center is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours for meetings and groups.

  • SMART Recovery

    SMART Recovery (THURSDAY)

    SMART Recovery’s 4-Point Program is the organization’s flagship secular program serving those with an addictive behavior, including both substance and activity/process addictions. Trained volunteer facilitators lead effective mutual support group discussions on these topics: Building and maintaining motivation Coping with urges and cravings Managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors Living a balanced life Related tools consistent with evidence-based motivational and cognitive behavioral theories are also offered and discussed. Specific audiences: Adults Welcome Anyone 18 and over fitting the purpose of the above program is welcome to join the meeting.   • Parents All in Recovery Group

    Parents All in Recovery Group

    Join the Parents All in Recovery Group every Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County, 179 S. Winooski Ave., Suite 301, Burlington, Vermont, where parents in recovery can connect, share their experiences, and support one another in a welcoming and understanding space. Children are welcome in the Maddie Linsenmeir Room, a safe, child-friendly space for ages 0–8. On the last Friday of each month, Steph from Steps to End Domestic Violence will join the group for learning, discussion, and breakfast pastries for all participants.     Father’s in Recovery

    Are you looking to find a healthy balance between being a father and nurturing your own recovery journey? The Turning Point Center of Chittenden County has a group for you! One of our community members who is passionate about helping other fathers in recovery is holding space for this group every Saturday from 1:30-2:30pm. Open to all fathers. Whether you have custody of your children or not, whether you are an adoptive father, stepfather, biological father, or a father figure, we welcome you!

    This in-person recovery yoga class offers a unique blend of mindfulness, movement, and community support.
