AA Nooner

An open AA meeting that meets from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, seven days a week, in person at the Center. This group welcomes all newcomers with open arms, and the format is usually “LD” ie, literature/discussion. This means that the meeting begins with a reading from a book that is part of the Alcoholics Anonymous library, followed by an open discussion of the reading and anything else related to the topic of recovery.

Recovery Darma

Recovery Dharma is a peer-led movement and community unified by our trust in each person’s potential to recover and find freedom from the suffering of addiction. We believe that the traditional Buddhist teachings—often referred to as the Dharma—offer a powerful approach to healing from addiction and living a life of true freedom. This in-person recovery yoga class offers a unique blend of mindfulness, movement, and community support. Event Series Parents All in Recovery Group

Parents All in Recovery Group

Join the Parents All in Recovery Group every Friday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County, 179 S. Winooski Ave., Suite 301, Burlington, Vermont, where parents in recovery can connect, share their experiences, and support one another in a welcoming and understanding space. Children are welcome in the Maddie Linsenmeir Room, a safe, child-friendly space for ages 0–8. On the last Friday of each month, Steph from Steps to End Domestic Violence will join the group for learning, discussion, and breakfast pastries for all participants. Connect, Play & Grow! This supportive playgroup is a space for parents in recovery to bond with their little ones, meet others on a similar journey, and enjoy fun activities together.
