A support group for family and friends whose lives have been affected by the disease of addiction with a loved one. This is a hybrid meeting held by the Families Coping with Addiction group every Wednesday at 5:30 pm, with an in-person session at the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County together. This meeting is an open meeting of Narcotics Anonymous. For the summer, we meet in Smalley Park, St. Paul Street, Burlington. If rainy, meet at the Center, 179 S. Winooski Ave, in Burlington. Bring blanket/chairs. kids welcome. Join us to learn more or visit the local chapter of Narcotics Anonymous' website. • This meeting is open to addicts and non-addicts alike. This is an open support group for people who are prescribed methadone, suboxone, and other medications as part of their treatment for Substance Use Disorder. When combined with psychosocial treatments like peer support and talk therapy, Mediation Assisted Treatment (M.A.T) can be a very effective treatment for opioid use disorder.
